Debbie is pleased to announce the launch of a new co-operative band with partner, BBC award winning saxophonist Simon Spillett.
In a show ideal for everything from theatres and festivals to corporate events Debbie explores the classic repertoire of the great vocalists Doris Day, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Julie London, Bing Crosby, Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald and many more, adding new twists to long familiar material.
With the addition of many fascinating anecdotes dotted between the performances, Debbie offers a mini-retrospective of the art of quality singing, accompanied by a swinging quartet line-up.
The Debbie Wilson Quartet
Debbie fronts the classic instrumentation of piano, double bass and drums in a setting which allows her the maximum of freedom in her interpretation of material ranging from bossa nova to ballads, swinging standards and classic jazz compositions.
Featuring some of the finest musicians on the UK jazz scene, the band maintains the highest musical standards with arrangements specifically tailored for Debbie’s classy and relaxed vocal delivery.
